My father and l have been upset by the officer related shootings in America this year. The last shooting by a police officer in the Ottawa area was in 1984 when l was 11 - the shooter was a cop who responded to a report of armed prowlers at a local schoolyard. The officer accidentally shot a young paintball player dead, and steps were taken to make sure it never happened again. ![:ohmy:]( ":ohmy:")
