How do we make Hollywood more Pro-Muscle Woman? - by: Jim

For a pro-muscle woman movie, I think you'd have to start small and have it produced by someone along the lines of George Romero, who did "Night of the Living Dead". Or Russ Meyer, who did movies featuring big busted women and are considered to be cult classics, such as "Faster Pussycat Kill Kill". I'm not saying that Romero would do that type of movie, and Russ Meyer is deceased, but saying that it would need that type of person and mindset to pull it off. And a budget of who knows how much?
You'd also need a story with a credible plot, a thriller/action type of movie with a good guy-bad guy (girl) vibe. You'd want to feature the woman with muscles actually displaying her muscles from time to time in scenes that related to the plot. Don't think you'd want to feature her muscles too much, as the general public that otherwise is not attracted to female bodybuilders would possibly be turned off by seeing too much of her muscles. You'd also need a woman or women that could actually act, not at the level of an academy award winner, but someone that is at least competent at the acting craft. And that woman or women would need to be attractive, and not ultra muscular, yet muscular enough. I'm thinking along the lines of Sophie Duquette, Janice Ragain, Betty Pariso or Valentina Chepiga. Again, just putting their names out there as an example.
There is a man on youtube named Samuel Oldham that has clips up of what you may call mini movies, featuring female bodybuilders.
Just came to mind some of the 70s action movies featuring Pam Grier or Tamara Dobson (Cleopatra Jones).
A script writer could possibly come up with a story along the lines of the movies Grier and Dobson did, but substituting a female bodybuilder as the lead.
I think it would be quite a hill to climb to pull off this type of movie and achieve even modest success. Anything is possible, though.
Believe the first starting point would be having enough financial support to attract these type of people.
My two cents worth.
